A characteristic feature of the development of modern energy is the widespread use of renewable energy sources in the energy sector of Ukraine. Wind energy is a promising branch of energy specializing in the transformation of kinetic energy of air masses into electrical, mechanical, thermal or any other form of energy that is convenient for use in the national economy. Such a transformation can be carried out by devices such as a wind generator (for power generation), a windmill (for conversion into mechanical energy), a sail (for use in transport), and other devices.

The report deals with wind power plants (VEUs), which are designed to use wind energy and transform it into electric energy. Wind turbines are installed in places with a powerful range of wind flow - near the seas and oceans, in mountainous terrain. The power of wind power plants can reach tens and hundreds of megawatts.
