Abstract


To date, to assess the impact of stationary man-made sources on air use mathematical models of Gaussian type, which have a number of significant shortcomings that significantly limit the application of these models in solving urgent problems related to the implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On impact assessment on environment ". Software products in the field of air protection, which are officially recommended by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, are based on the use of mathematical formulas of engineering methods that allow to determine the distribution of pollutants from man-made sources only in unstable atmospheres. This does not allow the use of this technique for other meteorological scenarios, which is unacceptable for solving current problems of air protection. The authors developed new mathematical models of air pollutant distribution, which, in contrast to existing models, take into account all major factors and adequately describe the distribution of impurities in space and time in the results of emissions from different types of stationary man-made sources.
